Yuba County General Plan Update – In Progress

Yuba County is in the process of updating its General Plan that was last updated in 1996. The update includes all seven elements of the General Plan and is expected to be completed in early 2009.

Any property owner in the unincorporated area of Yuba County may request that the County consider a change in the General Plan land use designation of their property. This change could result in changes in development standards, minimum lot sizes required, or permissible uses of property.
